Listen to Radiohead’s ‘Climbing Up The Walls’ from Peaky Blinders, Season 5, Episode 5, “The Shock”

British rock band Radiohead’s ‘Climbing Up The Walls‘ was featured on the new episode of Peaky Blinders this week — Peaky Blinders, Season 5, Episode 5, “The Shock“.

The song was heard at the beginning of the episode as we see various couples, including Mosley and the ballerina, being intimate with each other.

Radiohead’s ‘Climbing Up The Walls‘ is from the band’s third studio album OK Computer.

Released in 1997, the self-produced album hit number 1 on the UK Album Chart and number 21 on the Billboard 200 chart. Despite their record label doing very little marketing for it, as they felt it had zero commercial appeal.

The album won the Grammy Award for the Best Alternative Music Album the following year.

It was re-released in June, 2017 with a remastered version in celebration of its 20th anniversary. Called OKNOTOK 1997 2017, that album debuted in the number 2 spot on the UK Album Chart, and hit the number 23 spot on the Billboard 200 chart.

Four months later, the remastered album was certified Gold in the UK.

Not bad for an alternative rock album that has been released twice. Both times to astonishingly large sales, and to critical acclaim.
