If you watched the season finale of the second season of The CW’s The 100 last year, you may already be familiar with Raign’s beautiful cover of the Bob Dylan classic ‘Knocking On Heaven’s Door‘.
If not, you may have heard Raign’s ‘Knocking On Heaven’s Door‘ for the first time on Containment this week — (Season 1, Episode 5 — “Like A Sheep Among The Wolves“).
No matter when you heard the track, you will likely have noticed its haunting beauty. And how much more sad it seems than the Dylan original.
As for Raign, she is a British singer who got her start a few years ago as a songwriter for people like Rita Ora and Tulisa. She came to the UK public’s attention as a singer when her first single ‘Don’t Let Me Go‘ was featured on The Vampire Diaries.
‘Knocking On Heaven’s Door‘ is from Raign’s EP of the same name, which was released in 2015. You can pick up on major digital music platforms now.
