American alternative rock singer songwriter Rechael Yamagata’s ‘Quiet‘ was that song playing on this week’s Ted Lasso episode as Rebecca is getting ready to leave and gets a call from her doctor’s office.
It continues playing as she hangs up, and then calls Keeley who doesn’t answer — Ted Lasso, Season 3, Episode 5, “Signs“.
Rechael Yamagata’s ‘Quiet‘ was released in 2004 in the United States and 2005 in the UK as one of the tracks on her debut studio album Happenstance.
The album went on to chart in the U.S. at #17 on the Billboard Top Heatseekers chart.
Yamagata herself is the former lead singer of the band Bumpus.
She went solo in 2001 and has since released five studio albums, five EPs, a compilation album and almost 20 singles.
The indie singer has also provided songs for a number of TV and movie soundtracks, not just Ted Lasso.
They include the films That’s What She Said and Prime, as well as the South Korean TV series Something in the Rain and One Spring Night.
