Listen to Regina Spektor’s You’ve Got Time (chamber version) from Orange is the New Black, Season 7

Regina Spektor You've Got Time chamber orchestra version

Regina Spektor’s You’ve Got Time (chamber version) has just been released for Orange is the New Black Season 7 and, yes, that is just like it sounds — an orchestral rewrite of the Orange is the New Black theme song, which is even cooler than the original theme.

The new version was first heard last night on episode one of the latest season of the hit series — Orange is the New Black, Season 7, Episode 1, “Beginning of the End” — and adds even more excitement, energy and power to the opening of the much-loved comedy-drama series.

Regina Spektor wrote the original version for the Netflix series way back in 2013. A year later, the track was nominated for a Grammy Award.

As Season 7 is the last one of the series, however, the Russian-born American singer songwriter felt like it was about time to give the show something spectacular to go out on. Hence the You’ve Got Time (chamber version), which definitely does its job.

Orange is the New Black Season 7 has 13 episodes, which are now available on Netflix to binge watch, and with that gorgeous new theme song opening every one of them.
