Listen to Samm Henshaw’s ‘The World is Mine’ from Alex Rider, Season 1, Episode 1

Otto Farant plays Alex Rider

British singer songwriter Samm Henshaw’s ‘The World is Mine’ was one of the songs played on the first episode of the new Amazon Prime teen spy series Alex Rider last night — Alex Rider, Season 1, Episode 1 (aired on June 4th, 2020).

The song was the track played over the end credits.

The World Is Mine’ is a standalone single released by Samm Henshaw in 2019 via the Sony Music Entertainment UK record label.

The cool song is one of only a handful of releases from Henshaw so far, but that certainly has not stopped him from being noticed by BBC Radio or from opening for acts like Chance the Rapper and James Bay on their tours.

Samm Henshaw has also come to the attention of various music supervisors of hit TV series over the last couple of years, with several of his songs already having been chosen for the soundtracks of popular shows like God Friended Me, Love Island (UK), Dollface and, of course, Alex Rider.

Alex Rider is based on the series of massively successful teen spy novels written by Anthony Horowitz, and is a TV series fans of the books have been waiting for for quite a long time.

The 8-episode first season then is finally here. It stars Otto Farant as Alex Rider, Stephen Dillane as Alan Blunt, Andrew Buchan plays Ian Rider, Vicky McClure is Mrs. Jones and Brenock O’Connor is Alex’s best friend Tom Harris.

You can listen to Samm Henshaw’s ‘The World is Mine’ as featured on Alex Rider in the song’s official music video below.
