Santana’s ‘Smooth‘ with Matchbox Twenty‘s Rob Thomas was featured on the crime show NCIS a couple of weeks ago — Season 14, Episode 2, “Being Bad“. You heard it during the opening scene at the reunion.
And ‘Smooth‘ is one of those songs that, no matter how often you hear it, you just groove along to it like you always did.
In fact, it hardly seems possible it was released in 1999. It still seems so fresh. No wonder it keeps showing up in TV series like NCIS.
