Swedish singer songwriter Seinabo Sey‘s ‘Remember’ (feat. Jacob Banks) was played on the mid-season finale episode of the drama series Power last night — Season 6, Episode 10, “No One Can Stop Me” (aired on November 3rd, 2019).
The song was played as James talks to Angela about Ramona, and having to let her go.
Seinabo Sey’s ‘Remember‘ (feat. Jacob Banks) is from her second studio album I’m a Dream.
Released in 2018 via Universal Sweden to critical acclaim, the title of the album is supposed to be looked at in an ironic way, as Sey says she feels anything but a dream.
Earlier this year, I’m a Dream won two Swedish Grammy Awards for Sey — Best Album of the Year and Lyricist of the Year.
The official black and white music video for ‘Remember’ (see below) was shot in Gambia, which is where Sey’s father was born.
