Listen to Skunk Anansie’s ‘Tear the Place Up’ from The Walking Dead: World Beyond, Season 2, Ep. 4

The weirdly sounding named British alternative rock, punk rock band Skunk Anansie’s ‘Tear the Place Up‘ was heard on the soundtrack of The Walking Dead: World Beyond last night — The Walking Dead: World Beyond, Season 2, Episode 4, “Family is a Four Letter Word“.

The song was the track playing on the loudspeakers spewing music to draw Walkers.

Skunk Anansie’s ‘Tear the Place Up‘ is one of three new songs that were released on the band’s greatest hits album Smashes and Trashes, which came out via Virgin and One Little Indian record labels in mid-2009.

It was the first release including new music since the rock band had broken up eight years before.

Not an enormous hit all over Europe or in the UK, the album did still manage to be certified Silver for Europe-wide sales, and Gold in Italy.

Skunk Anansie’s ‘Tear the Place Up‘ also came with an official music video featuring the band performing the track in a darkened room lit by just one spotlight beam.

And with the camera mainly focused on lead singer Skin.

Listen to Skunk Anansie’s ‘Tear the Place Up‘ as heard on The Walking Dead: World Beyond last night in that music video.

There is also an interesting live performance on the band’s 25Live@25 album worth a listen down there too.
