Listen to Sleeping At Last’s ‘Faith’ from Grey’s Anatomy — It Will Break Your Heart

Sleeping At Last‘s ‘Faith‘ was featured on the latest episode of Grey’s Anatomy this week — Season 13, Episode 16 – “When It Hurts So Bad” — and, yes, it’s that ‘Faith‘, the one written and sung by George Michael back in 1987.

But, the way Sleeping At Last, aka Ryan O’Neal, sings ‘Faith‘ is nothing like the George Michael version. Because this one will break your heart.

Because Sleeping At Last’s songs are almost always sad, but this slowed down version of this classic pop rock song tells the poignant story of a man who is in love, but so incredibly frightened of opening his heart and becoming so exposed.

But I’ve got to think twice
Before I give my heart away
And I know all the games you play
Because I play them too

This is not the first time Sleeping At Last’s music has appeared on a movie or TV soundtrack, of course, or on Grey’s Anatomy for that matter. His songs have also appeared on the soundtrack of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1, the TV series Jane the Virgin and during an episode of season nine of Grey’s Anatomy.

Now listen to Sleeping At Last’s ‘Faith‘ from season 13 of Grey’s Anatomy in the Deezer plugin below. I think it’s one of his best yet.
