The mellow song that was playing towards the end of Ted Lasso this week as Nathan is at the riverside restaurant nervously waiting for Jade and texting his mother is Snoh Aalegra’s ‘Find Someone Like You‘ — Ted Lasso, Season 3, Episode 7.
The Swedish R&B soul singer released the romantic track on her sophomore studio album Ugh Those Feels Again, which came out via the ARTium and AWAL labels in 2019.
While the song was not released as a single, the track still grabbed the attention of fans and went on to become one of her most listened to songs on streaming platforms like Spotify and on YouTube.
Snoh Aalegra (aka Swedish-Persian Shahrzad Fooladi) herself is somewhat of a music genius, and someone who has been working towards a professional music career from when she was an extremely young child.
By the time she was signed by Sony at the age of just 13-years-old, she had been creating music since the age of nine.
Since 2014, Aalegra has also been quite prolific releasing three full-length studio albums, two EPs and almost 25 singles.
She has also collaborated on almost a dozen singles with artists like Alicia Keys, Vince Staples, Dreezy and Joyner Lucas, and was even nominated for a Grammy Award this year in the Best Traditional R&B Performance.
Unfortunately, one of the people she was up against was Beyonce. Another was Mary J. Blige, so yeah.
