American house EDM duo Sofi Tuckker practically took over the latest episode of The Blacklist this week, with four of their songs being featured on the crime thriller series last night — Season 6, Episode 22, “Robert Diaz“.
Songs heard were ‘Best Friend‘ (featuring NERVO, The Knocks, and Alisa Ueno) , ‘That’s It, I’m Crazy‘, the Sofi Tukker Carnival remix of ‘Best Friend’ and ‘Batshit’.
While all four songs were hits for Sofi Tukker ‘Best Friend’, the third single from their debut album Treehouse, Â was enormously successful for the duo and the other three artists.
The track made it to the number one spot on the Billboard Dance/Mix Show Airplay, and charted high in 10 other countries. It was also certified Gold in the United States, and Platinum in Canada.
Sofi Tukker’s ‘Best Friend’ was featured in a slew of TV series and video games, including TNT’s Good Behavior, Netflix’s Santa Clarita Diet, the film Oceans 8, the Freeform comedy Alone Together and the FIFA 18 soundtrack. The track’s music video also has over 32 million views on YouTube.
