The new Netflix movie Purple Hearts has not only been a huge hit due to the film’s unlikely romance between protagonists Cassie and Luke, but also massively popular because of star Sofia Carson’s songs playing throughout.
Including American actress and singer songwriter Carson’s ‘Come Back Home‘, which was heard as the singer herself gave a live performance of the song at a concert in the film.
It was one of many songs on the soundtrack written and performed by Carson, who is also an Executive Producer on the film.
Sofia Carson’s debut studio album came out earlier this year, after she had recorded and released several singles from it.
Her songs have also been released on various film soundtracks since 2015.
The 29-year-old Carson herself is a former Disney actress, having starred as Evie, the daughter of Snow White‘s Evil Queen.
She is also known for playing Ava in Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists and April in Feel the Beat.

Purple Hearts was directed by Elizabeth Allen Rosenbaum, and stars Carson, Nicholas Galitzine and Chosen Jacobs.
The film is currently streaming on Netflix.
