English singer Sofia’s ‘New Day‘ was one of the songs played on this week’s New Amsterdam episode — New Amsterdam, Season 5, Episode 10, “Don’t Do This for Me“.
The upbeat song with its cool clap beat and sweet vocals was played during the montage where Max is with his ASL teacher, Martin and Iggy are in bed, and Elizabeth turns Max down. Again.
Sofia’s ‘New Day‘ was released as a single in late 2017 via Hive Music and, with its joyful clap beat, it is a track that could aleviate just about any bad mood you’re in.
The song is one of a number of singles the East London native has released since her debut EP Colorful Way in 2014, as well as one of several songs the English singer has had played on hit shows like Glee and Are You the One?
Sofia is a singer/songwriter who lists her music influences as Katy Perry, Lily Allen and American indie pop band The Shins, and it is definitely easy to hear those cool influences in the pretty songs she writes.
