Listen to Stevie Wonder’s ‘Uptight (Everything’s Alright)’ from Mythic Quest, Season 3, Ep. 3 – upbeat and sweet

While the Apple Original comedy series Mythic Quest has been one of the funniest shows to appear on a streaming service over the last couple of years, it has also stood out for me because of the many outstanding songs featured on each episode’s soundtrack.

Songs like Stevie Wonder’s ‘Uptight (Everything’s Alright)‘, which was used on the Mythic Quest soundtrack this week — Mythic Quest, Season 3, Episode 3, “Crushing It” at the end of the episode as Rachel and Jo are in the tank smashing cars.

The track continues playing over the episode’s end credits.

Stevie Wonder’s ‘Uptight (Everything’s Alright)‘ was first released by the renowned singer songwriter in 1965 as a single.

The track quickly became a huge hit for the musician, charting at #3 on the Billboard Pop Singles chart, as well as at #1 on the Hot Rhythm & Blues Singles chart, and at #3 on the Cash Box Top 100.

It went on to become one of Stevie Wonder’s most well-known and most successful releases.

Due to the song’s surprising success, Wonder’s record company quickly rushed his fifth studio album Up-Tight into production, with the single being re-released on that a few months later.

The upbeat pop track also earned Wonder his first two Grammy Award nominations.

Listen to Stevie Wonder’s ‘Uptight (Everything’s Alright)‘ as heard on Mythic Quest yesterday on his Up-Tight album, and in the video.

Watch Season 3 of Mythic Quest on Apple TV+.
