Tangerine Dream’s ‘Love On A Real Train‘ was featured in this week’s episode of the USA Network’s cyberpunk thriller Mr Robot (Season 1, Episode 5 – “eps1.4_3xpl0its.wmv”). It was played over a montage of cuts of Elliot and Angela going about their typical daily lives.
As for Tangerine Dream and their music, they are a German electronic music group that have been in existence since the late 1960s, and ‘Love On A Real Train‘ isn’t a new track.
It was originally written for the Tom Cruise movie ‘Risky Business‘ in 1983. Not that you’d guess the track is over 30 years old, as it’s just as futuristic sounding as it was back then.
