Taylor Swift’s ‘Love Story (Taylor’s Version)‘ the perfect song for Richie’s new attitude
One of the best episodes of the current season of the Hulu comedy drama The Bear is Episode 7.
The episode that follows Richie working in the kitchen of a 3-star restaurant — The Bear, Season 2, Episode 7, “Forks“.
A job that begins with him cleaning forks.
Not only was it wonderful to see Richie come around over the course of the episode, and go from the usual obnoxious, unconfident guy blaming the world for his problems when he started, to someone who actually ‘gets’ why the restaurant chefs do what they do.
And begins to buy into it too.
Included with the superb storyline and brilliant acting from Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Richie, we also got several fabulous tracks on the episode.
The best, though, just had to be the scene with Richie driving home in his car and singing at the top of his lungs to Taylor Swift’s ‘Love Story (Taylor’s Version)‘.

What is Taylor Swift’s ‘Love Story (Taylor’s Version)‘?
Taylor Swift’s ‘Love Story (Taylor’s Version)‘ is a re-recording of the singer’s original ‘Love Story‘ song, which came out on her second studio album Fearless back in 2008.
The song was re-recorded and re-released by the American singer in 2021, along with all of her first six studio albums, after talent manager Scooter Braun bought the masters for all six albums, which angered Swift no end.
To fix the problem in the best way she could, Swift re-recorded and re-released each album. Not only to get full ownership of the new masters, but also to reduce the value of the Braun-owned masters.
If nothing else, Taylor Swift is kickass, eh?
