Listen to The Head and The Heart’s ‘Love We Make’ from Good Trouble, Season 4, Ep. 14

Indie folk rock band The Head and The Heart’s ‘Love We Make‘ was one of the cool tracks played on last night’s episode of Good Trouble on Freeform — Good Trouble, Season 4, Episode 14, “Life is What Happens…“.

The song was featured at the reception as Joaquin and Mariana begin to dance, and as Kelly is thinking about dancing with Joaquin instead.

The Head and The Heart’s ‘Love We Make‘ is from the band’s 16-song fifth studio album Every Shade of Blue, which came out in April this year via the Warner Bros. and Reprise labels.

The album peaked at #21 on the Billboard U.S. Folk Albums chart, and spawned three singles.

Critics gave the album mixed reviews, with its lack of cohesiveness in its songs being criticized, as well as it being an album whose songs don’t stick with you long after it plays.

In my opinion though, The Head and The Heart’s ‘Love We Make‘ is one exception as the mellow song is almost hypnotic in its feel.

And really quite lovely.

Listen to The Head and The Heart’s ‘Love We Make‘ as heard on this week’s Good Trouble in the video, and on the band’s Every Shade of Blue album.
