Songs like The Lovin’ Spoonful’s ‘Do You Believe in Magic?‘, which was played on The Umbrella Academy, Season 3, Episode 3, “Pocket Full of Lightning‘.
The Lovin’ Spoonful’s ‘Do You Believe in Magic?‘ is the title track from the American folk rock band’s debut studio album.
An album that came out over 50 years ago, back in late 1965.
The song was a surprise success for the band, catapulting to #9 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and to #3 on the Canadian RPM Top Singles chart.
It has since been placed on the lists of a number of influential music critics as one of the best songs of all time.
The Lovin’ Spoonful’s album of the same name also went on to sell well.
Part of that was due to it featuring featured hit band songs like ‘Did You Ever Have to Make Up Your Mind?‘ and ‘Younger Girl‘.
