Did you watch Stranger Things on Netflix in the last month — like I, and half of the rest of the planet, already have? If so, you are also probably one of the millions of people who are now addicted to the Stranger Things soundtrack. A soundtrack of some of the coolest 1960s, 70s and 80s music around.
One of my favorite tracks from the series, and apparently a lot of other people’s as well, is The Seeds’ song ‘Can’t Seem To Make You Mine‘. It’s the first song we hear on Stranger Things, during the scene when Hopper arrives at the police station and is being harangued by the staff.
And it’s my Repeat Rotation Video today because, as much as it was first released in 1965, it’s still such a modern sounding song, it would be just as big of a hit today. And it’s very very cool.
