The Silent Comedy’s ‘Bartholomew‘ was chosen as the theme song for ‘Goliath‘recently, the new crime series starring Billy Bob Thornton, and it has been stuck in my head since I started binge watching the series this week.

Bartholomew‘ is from The Silent Comedy’s 2010 album Common Faults. But, if you are a gamer like me, you may have already been familiar with the song if you played the video game Dark Souls, as it showed up on that soundtrack too.

The track has also been used for the soundtrack of the vampire series The Originals in the past so, yes, it is quite popular with TV and video game Music Supervisors. And for good reason.

As for The Silent Comedy, they are a San Diego-based rock band with a heavy folk influence twist that really makes them stand out. Started by brothers Joshua and Jeremiah Zimmerman, the band has been around since 2006, and is currently a four-member band.

They are also known as a band that doesn’t segregate themselves from fans. Instead, they love hanging out with them in a bar after the show, drinking a beer or shooting the breeze. Now that is as down to earth as it comes, isn’t it?

Listen to their ‘Bartholomew‘ in the video below. Rocking, I’d say.
