Listen to The Supremes’ ‘Baby Love’ played on Luther: The Fallen Sun on the car radio

The Supremes’ ‘Baby Love‘ was one of several songs playing on the car radio during the new thriller Luther: The Fallen Sun that was released this week.

That song came out in 1964 as the second single from the American soul group’s second studio album Where Did Our Love Go.

It went on to be an absolutely enormous success in the United States, where it topped six different charts, including the Billboard Hot 100.

It eventually became one of 12 number one singles the group had, which to this day is more than any other Motown act was able to achieve.

Baby Love‘ also charted at #1 in the United Kingdom and New Zealand, as well as high up on charts in 10 other countries.

Since its release, ‘Baby Love‘ has been named to the lists of many music critics as one of the best pop songs ever released.

It eventually became an iconic song for The Supremes, as well as one of their signature tracks.

Listen to The Supremes’ ‘Baby Love‘ as heard on Luther: The Fallen Sun in the video, and on the American soul group’s 12-track Where Did Our Love Go album.

The new crime film Luther: The Fallen Sun stars Idris Elba, Cynthia Erivo and Andy Serkis, and is currently streaming via Netflix.
