Modern folk music duo The Sweeplings‘ song ‘In Too Deep‘ was featured on ‘Pretty Little Liars‘ last night — Season 7, Episode 10, “The Darkest Knight“. And it’s a song that is dark and moody, and a perfect fit for the equally dark mystery thriller ‘Pretty Little Liars‘.
‘In Too Deep‘ was written by The Sweeplings after ABC Family contacted them saying they would love to use music from them if they could come up with something a little darker than their usually naturally happy sounding stuff. They did, and ‘In Too Deep‘ eventually aired on the ABC Family show ‘The Fosters‘.
Last night it was on ‘Pretty Little Liars‘ during a quite montage of Hanna and Caleb making love, Alison kissing Emily and Aria seeing Nicole’s rescue on TV.
