Listen to Thom Yorke’s ‘Hearing Damage’ from The Law According to Lidia Poët, Ep. 5 – simple but haunting

Thom Yorke’s ‘Hearing Damage

Iconic English musician and Radiohead lead vocalist Thom Yorke’s ‘Hearing Damage‘ was one of the tracks heard on Episode 5 of the Netflix historical drama The Law According to Lidia Poët this week.

It is the electro song playing as Jacopo is telling Lilia he loves her, while also apologizing.

Thom Yorke’s ‘Hearing Damage‘ was originally released in 2009 on the soundtrack for the hit film Twilight: New Moon.

The simple yet haunting song was the standout track from an extremely good soundtrack from a mediocre film.

Its heavy reverb seems to make it stick in your head even longer once it ends.

The track has since become one of Thom Yorke‘s most listened to songs, with more than 22 million plays on Spotify alone.

Its lyrics seem to suggest the singer telling the person he loves, even in her darkest moments, he loves her so much that, to him at least, she can do no wrong.
