Dominican-American singer-songwriter Twin Shadow’s ‘Get Closer‘ was played on the new season of The CW’s hit sci-fi drama Roswell, New Mexico this week — Roswell, New Mexico, Season 4, Episode 1, “Steal My Sunshine“.
The deceptively upbeat sounding song was heard as Max and Liz are celebrating moving in together.
Twin Shadow’s ‘Get Closer‘ came out on the singer songwriter’s self-titled fifth and latest studio album.
That album was released in 2021 on his own record label Cheree Cheree.
The album was recorded in both the U.S. and the Dominican Republic., and is a work that has gone back to the singer’s interest in the golden age of soul.
Sounds pretty dope to me.
Along with writing and recording his own music Twin Shadow, aka George Lewis Jr., is also a record producer, an author and an actor.
His first album came out in 2010.
Since then, the prolific singer songwriter has recorded and released four more albums, a mixtape, an EP, at least 25 singles and a slew of remixes.
