American indie pop, pop rock singer songwriter Upsahl’s ‘STOP!’ was played on the soundtrack of Station 19 this week — Station 19, Season 6, Episode 2, “Everybody’s Got Something to Hide Except Me and My Monkey“.
The cool dance number was released as a non-album single in 2021, right before the singer’s debut major label album Lady Jesus came out in October last year.
Upsahl herself, aka Taylor Cameron Upsahl, first began recording and releasing music in 2014, when she was still just 14-years-old.
A year later, Upsahl released her debut album Viscerotonic, which she produced herself, followed by two other albums in quick succession
In 2018, the indie singer signed with Arista Records, and released several singles over the next couple of years before her major label album debut came out last year.
Upsahl’s ‘STOP!‘ came with an official music video featuring the singer in the back of a car while her friends kiss in the front seat, then getting out and dancing in the street.
It ends with her at night in a swimming pool and smiling as the guy she likes shows up.
