Listen to Vera Blue’s ‘Settle‘ from ‘Conviction‘ — ethereal, dark and beautiful

Australian folk singer songwriter Vera Blue’s beautiful song ‘Settle‘ was featured on the latest episode of the new ABC drama ‘Conviction‘ — Season 1, Episode 7, “A Simple Man“. The track was heard as Vince is seen waiting outside the prison for Leo.

Vera Blue’s ‘Settle‘ is from Fingertips, her new five-track EP, which was released back in May. It is ethereal, dark and quite beautiful, and the Aboriginal-sounding beat underneath it all is a nice touch.

As for Vera Blue, she first came to the attention of the Aussie public under her real name Celia Pavey when she came in third in season 2 of The Voice Australia.

Since then, she has released her debut album, This Music, a follow up debut EP Bodies, and supported the New Zealand duo Broods on their recent Australian tour.

Listen to Vera Blue’s ‘Settle‘ in the official music video below. It’s a black and white art video that is just as lovely as the song.

You can currently buy ‘Settle‘ on most major digital music sites.
