Listen to Warren Zevon’s ‘Lawyers, Guns and Money’ from Boom! Boom!: The World vs. Boris Becker Ep. 1 end credits

The song that played on the Apple TV documentary Boom! Boom!: The World vs. Boris Becker, Episode 1 end credits was a banger for sure.

That song was also Warren Zevon’s ‘Lawyers, Guns and Money‘, which showed up on Boom! Boom!: The World vs. Boris Becker, Episode 1 playing over the end credits.

Warren Zevon’s ‘Lawyers, Guns and Money‘ was released in 1978 by the folk rock artist on his third studio album Excitable Boy.

It is also a track that perfectly explains Boris Becker’s attitude about why he ended up in prison, with most of his money gone in bankruptcy and then, after serving his sentence, deported from the UK.

After all, to this day, Becker seems to take little responsibility for his own terrible and, in some cases, illegal actions, but instead always seems to be blaming an “outer force” that put him there.

As Warren Zevon says in the song:

I’m the innocent bystander
Somehow I got stuck between the rock and a hard place
And I’m down on my luck, yes I’m down on my luck
Well, I’m down on my luck

Yep. That’s Boris Becker.

Listen to Warren Zevon’s ‘Lawyers, Guns and Money‘ in the video, and on the Spotify player from his Excitable Boy album.

The documentary itself is now streaming via Apple TV.
