English indie rock band Wolf Alice’s ‘Don’t Delete the Kisses‘ was the song playing on the latest episode of Gen V today as Sam and Emma are having sex — Gen V, Season 1, Episode 6, “Jumanji“.
The song began playing as Sam and Emma are kissing, and she asks him if he wants to have sex.
It continues as they are on the floor under blankets making love, and he sees Emma turn into Miss Piggy as she writhes on top of him.
Wolf Alice’s ‘Don’t Delete the Kisses‘ is the indie band’s 11th single
‘Don’t Delete the Kisses‘ is the second single released from Wolf Alice‘s second studio album Visions of a Life, which came out in mid-2017.
The dream pop song was unlike anything the indie band had ever released before, with even lead singer Ellie Rowsell admitting it was an all-out “hold-nothing-back” love song, and was something she wanted to try to see if she could create something different but something she loved.
Fans must have loved it as, while ‘Don’t Delete the Kisses‘ only hit #100 on the UK Singles chart, it was the band’s first single to make the chart since the track ‘Bros’ four years previous.
It also hit #74 on the Scottish Singles chart.
Critics also liked ‘Don’t Delete the Kisses‘, with several saying it was one of the most powerful songs the English band had released.
