American indie pop R&B singer songwriter Yebba’s ‘Love Came Down‘ was featured on the soundtrack of Chicago Med last night — Chicago Med, Season 7, Episode 8, “Just as a Snake Sheds Its Skin“.
A song that is a standout not only because of its catchy melody, but also for the track’s powerful vocals. Vocals producer Mark Ronson has said are some of the best of her generation.
Yebba’s ‘Love Came Down‘ is from the singer’s debut studio album Dawn.
Released earlier this year via the RCA record label, Dawn was lovingly named after Yebba’s mother, who had died a couple of years before the album was recorded.
The album itself was well-received by critics and made it to #6 on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart.
Listen to Yebba’s ‘Love Came Down‘ as heard on Chicago Med this week in the video below, and on the singer’s Dawn album.
The vocals on the song are so clean and beautiful, it’s amazing Yebba isn’t better known than she is.
Chicago Med is currently airing on NBC.
