The Korean mystery drama Longing for You, Episode 3 aired in South Korea last night to its highest ratings since the K-drama began.
According to Nielsen Korea, Longing for You, Episode 3 earned 2.03 percent of the audience share nationwide.
That is an increase from the last episode’s 1.82 percent, and quite a bit higher than the 1.40 percent the ENA drama premiered with on July 26th.
In Seoul, Longing for You, Episode 3 saw similar ratings with an increase from Episode 2’s 1.81 percent to last night’s 2.14 percent.
Longing for You and ratings from international viewers
Viewers outside Korea also seem to be enjoying the ENA drama so far.
International viewers who use the Asian drama focused website My Drama List are currently rating Longing for You the mystery thriller an 8.0 out of 10.
Comments too are mainly positive, with people intrigued by the mystery and enjoying the performance of the main actors while, at the same time, irritated by the behavior of the main character Oh Jin Seong (nicely played by Na In Woo).
Longing for You (known as 오랫동안 당신을 기다렸습니다 in Korean) airs on ENA in South Korea every Wednesday and Thursday at 21:00 (KST).
The drama stars Na In Woo, Kim Ji Eun, Kwon Yool, Bae Jong Ok, Lee Kyu Han and Jung Sang Hoon.
Longing for You is streaming outside South Korea via Viki where viewers are currently rating the K-drama a 9.2 out of 10.
Ratings on that site are always higher than anywhere else, so a more accurate rating is likely to be slightly lower.
