Is anyone surprised that Lovely Runner, Episode 15 earned its highest ever viewership in South Korea last night?

Both nationwide, and from audiences in Seoul, I might add.

I know I’m not.

Those ratings, by the way, were released by Nielsen Korea earlier today, and show Lovely Runner, Episode 15 grabbing 5.29 percent of the nationwide audience share on Monday night.

That is an increase from the K-drama’s previous episode’s 4.82 percent — which was the drama’s previous all-time high rating.

Viewers in Seoul meanwhile flocked to the penultimate episode of Lovely Runner in even higher numbers, with Episode 15 of the tvN romance drama earning an even higher 6.19 percent.

With the series finale airing on tvN later on tonight, it is pretty easy to guess it will likely grab an even higher rating as fans (and there are many of them) are desperate to see how this superb drama ends.

International viewers continue to award Lovely Runner incredibly high ratings

Lovely Runner is a drama that has performed just as well outside South Korea as in it as well, as personal ratings from its many fans over the last couple of months prove.

Over on My Drama List, a site where millions of K-drama fans congregate, the romance drama started off with an incredibly high (for that site) 9.1 out of 10.

A rating that has never dropped, which is also unusual from users of the site.

Notoriously stingy IMDB users are also giving Lovely Runner a very high 9.0 out of 10, while Viki subscribers, who are watching the drama on that platform, are ranking it a crazy high 9.8 out of 10, and have been since it premiered.

Yep, Lovely Runner has been a smash hit both home and abroad. Yay!

Lovely Runner stars Byeon Woo Seok and Kim Hye Yoon.

The romance drama’s final episode will air on tvN tonight, with Viki streaming it for international viewers soon after.
