Maestra: Strings of Truth Ep 2 ratings increase as international viewers rate it high

With the new tvN music-themed drama Maestra: Strings of Truth airing its second episode last night, it appears this one may end up being another hit for the Korean TV network if its latest ratings are anything to go by.

According to the latest data via Nielsen Korea, Maestra: Strings of Truth, Episode 2 earned 4.84 percent of the audience share nationwide last night, which is a big increase from its first episode’s rating of 4.19 percent.

Audiences in Seoul seemed to love the new mystery drama even more, as Nielsen reports Episode 2’s ratings in that region were 5.69 percent of the audience share.

That was a substantial increase from Episode 1’s rating of 4.54 percent in Seoul.

Those ratings also put Maestra: Strings of Truth in the #2 spot on cable in its time slot nationwide, as well as in the #1 spot in Seoul.

International audiences and Maestra: Strings of Truth

International audiences also seem to be enjoying the new tvN drama so far, as ratings on various sites are high.

IMDB, for instance, is currently showing a high rating of 8.8 out of 10 from their users, while users on My Drama List are rating it a solid 8 out of 10.

Considering anything at an 8 or higher on My Drama List is considered a high rating, the Korean drama seems to be well-liked by netizens using the site so far.

Maestra: Strings of Truth stars Lee Young Ae, Lee Moo Saeng, Kim Young Jae, and Hwang Bo Reum Byeol.

The Korean drama airs on tvN every Saturday and Sunday evening at 21:20 (KST), with Hulu and Disney Plus streaming the K-drama for international viewers.
