Korean mystery thriller Maestra: Strings of Truth, Episode 8 aired on tvN last night in South Korea in its usual time slot.
Interestingly too, even though it was New Year’s Eve, the Lee Young Ae led drama only saw a small ratings drop compared to its previous episode.
It was also the #1 show in its time slot on cable TV.
That rating, according to Nielsen Korea, was 4.97 percent, which was an insignificant drop from its previous episode’s 5.25 percent considering much of the country was probably celebrating the arrival of 2024 instead of watching dramas.
It is also a good indicator of how well-liked the tvN drama has become since its premiere, as it was able to retain most of its core audience again.
The next episode of Maestra: Strings of Truth will air on January 6th, 2024. You can watch it outside South Korea on Disney Plus and Hulu in some regions.
