Mahalia’s ‘Simmer’ feat. Burna Boy tells that boy who likes her a lot to “cool down sinner”

British singer songwriter Mahalia has released yet another new single this week. This time in the form of ‘Simmer‘ and a collab featuring the massively successful Nigerian rapper and singer Burna Boy.

Burna Boy himself was just named Best International Act at the BET Awards so, yep, these two are a bit of a power pair.

‘Simmer‘ is also an upbeat track with a very cool summer vibe, that will most definitely have you dancing around to it.

The song’s title comes from Beenie Man’s ‘Who Am I (Sim Simma)‘, and also includes a sample from that hit song.

Mahalia’s ‘Simmer‘ was produced by Felix Joseph and Jonah Christian, and is Mahalia warning a guy that seems to like her just a little bit too much “Cool now Sinner, Cool down Love”.

Mahalia’s ‘Simmer’ is another track from her upcoming debut album Love & Compromise, which is expected to drop on September 6th on Asylum Records UK.

It follows on from the previous releases of both ‘Do Not Disturb‘ and ‘Grateful‘.

Listen to ‘Simmer’ in the lyric video of the song below, and in the Spotify widget below that.

And yes, while this young British singer has yet to release her debut album, with each successive single release, she does not disappoint.
