miwa and Kawasaki Takaya’s ‘February 14’ music video is the sweetest thing and that song is utterly addictive

Japanese pop singer miwa has just released the official music video for her collaboration with Kawasaki Takaya, and it is the sweetest thing.

Called ‘February 14‘, the song is a celebration of Valentine’s Day, and features the singer in her kitchen making chocolate hearts and heart-shaped muffins and sweets for the person she loves.

It ends with her wrapping all the sweet things she has made in a gift box, so she can give them to her love on Valentine’s Day.

miwa and Kawasaki Takaya’s ‘February 14‘ features a lovely melody and an addictive chorus, with the two singers’ voices complimenting each other perfectly.

February 14‘ is also included in miwa’s just-released-in-Japan EP Valentine ga Kotoshi mo Yattekuru, which will also get a February 18th physical release.

miwa herself got married in 2019 to swimmer and Olympic medalist Kosuke Hagino. The couple welcomed their first child in January, 2020.

Kawasaki Takaya is also married to his high school sweetheart, with the birth of their son also announced in April, 2020.

You can also listen to the song on the Spotify player down there as well, but I will bet you can’t just listen to it once, as I tried that and I think I am now on Listen #14.
