Remember Mutual Benefit’s amazing debut album Love’s Crushing Diamond? Well, it looks like we’re going to be getting another album soon, and if ‘Not For Nothing‘, the what may be the first track just released from it, is anything to go by it’s going to be the same kind of wonderful.
The news even gets better, as you can currently download ‘Not For Nothing‘ completely free from Bandcamp.
Of course, this being Mutual Benefit, aka the music project of musician Jordan Lee, the line-up may be completely different than the project’s debut album, as that’s how Lee likes to work. Bringing in different artists for each Mutual Benefit project he works on.
For ‘Not for Nothing‘, the artists were Jordan Lee, Mike Clifford, Jake Falby and Dillon Zahner. The song was produced by Brian McTear and recorded at Miner Street Recordings in Philadelphia.
