My Dearest E16 hits HIGHEST Part 2 rating but here’s when HIGHEST EVER rating happens (prediction)

My Dearest ratings continue to rise with Episode 16

Korean historical drama My Dearest, Episode 16 aired last night to ever increasing ratings in South Korea.

According to Nielsen Korea, My Dearest grabbed 12.00 percent of the audience share, which is slightly up from the drama’s previous episode’s 11.8 percent and only .20 percent away from the K-drama’s highest ever rating (12.20 percent for Episode 10).

As for the My Dearest, Episode 16 ratings in Seoul, they also saw a teeny tiny increase — from last episode’s 11.2 percent to last night’s 11.3 percent.

Both ratings made the drama the second-most watched show on Saturday in Korea, and only beaten by the KBS2 family drama Live Your Own Life.

When will My Dearest’s highest ever rating occur? (prediction)

As Episode 10 was the final episode of Part 1, which is why it earned My Dearest‘s highest ever rating so far, and as we are still four episodes away from the drama’s final scenes at the end of Episode 20, my prediction (a pretty obvious one) is we still have not seen the highest rating for this superb MBC drama.

In fact, if I was a betting person, I would put all my money on Episode 20 hitting My Dearest‘s highest rating, and a rating that is probably quite a bit higher than the one My Dearest earned last night. (Likely around the 15.00 percent range or higher)

A prediction that is due to two simple facts.

Heck, aren’t you desperate to know where the relationship between Lee Jang Hyun (Namkoong Min) and Yoo Gil Chae (Ahn Eun Jin) finally ends up, and don’t you think a few million other people are?

And haven’t we had so many twists and turns, and sheer emotional devastations, in this wonderful Hwang Jin Young-written drama, we all know just about anything could still happen right up to its final second?

Meanwhile, with just four episodes left to air, the next episode of My Dearest will hit MBC in South Korea next Friday, November 3rd at  21:50 (KST).

Viki, where the K-drama is currently rated 9.7 out of 10, will air the next episode for international viewers soon after.

Now let’s keep watching the Best Korean Drama of 2023 (in my opinion), both in South Korea and overseas, so we can make sure it ends on the crazy-high ratings/viewership numbers My Dearest has deserved from its very first episode.
