My Dearest Ep 10 ends Part 1 on HIGHEST rating setting up drama nicely for Part 2

As you might expect, the popular South Korean drama My Dearest, Episode 10 aired last night to the drama’s highest rating yet as the episode completed the series’ first part.

According to numbers from Nielsen Korea, My Dearest, Episode 10 garnered 12.2 percent of the audience share nationwide, which is a substantial increase from its previous high rating (Episodes 7 and 9) of 10.6 percent.

In Seoul, Episode 10 performed almost as well grabbing 11.5 percent of the audience, an increase of almost 2 percent above its previous episode’s rating. (9.8 percent)

This means the final episode of My Dearest, Part 1 has set up the drama well for a very healthy audience when Part 2 premieres some time in October.

International audiences and My Dearest, Episode 10

While My Dearest is still rated high with international audiences (it currently has an 8.7 out of 10 on My Drama List, and an incredibly high 9.8 out of 10 on Viki), audience comments about the ending of Episode 10 and what we might expect going forward are mixed.

Some are tired that the main romance is being dragged out so much, while others are expressing their frustration at Episode 10’s ending.

Especially as there are still 10 more episodes to watch in this convoluted romance.

My Dearest stars Namkoong Min, Ahn Eun Jin, Lee Hak Joo, Lee Da In, and Kim Yun-woo, with Part 1 airing on MBC TV every Friday and Saturday at 21:50 (KST).

No announcement has yet been made about when Part 2 of the drama will air.

Meanwhile, you can currently watch My Dearest, Episode 10 on both Viki and on Kocowa.
