The MBC TV historical drama My Dearest, Episode 6 aired in South Korea last night to ever rising ratings.
Proving yet again the Namkoong Min/Ahn Eun Ji-led drama has grabbed viewers’ attention, and does not seem to be letting go.
According to Nielsen Korea after Episode 5 saw a 3.2 percent rating increase to 8.4 percent over Episode 4, My Dearest, Episode 6 ratings rose again.
This time to 8.8 percent nationwide — which is My Dearest’s highest rating of the series so far.
In Seoul, Episode 6 ratings stayed the same as Episode 5’s ratings — 8.3 percent, which is a very high rating considering the first episode of the drama premiered at 5.4 percent.
My Dearest, Episode 6 was also the most-watched show of any kind on Saturday among the 20 to 49 age demographic.
My Dearest stars Namkoong Min, Ahn Eun Jin, Lee Hak Joo, Lee Da In, and Kim Yun Woo, and airs in South Korea every Friday and Saturday evening on MBC.
Outside Korea, the drama is streaming on Viki, where it is currently being rated a 9.7 out of 10. and on Kocowa.
The series is divided into two 10-episode parts, with the first part ending on September 2nd and the second part beginning in October after a month break.
