My Demon Ep 7 has tiny rating drop nationwide, but highest ever Seoul rating

The latest episode of the Korean drama My DemonMy Demon, Episode 7 — aired on SBS last night to a very small ratings drop nationwide, but to its highest rating in Seoul.

According to Nielsen Korea, My Demon, Episode 7 earned 4.5 percent of the audience share nationwide, which is down an insignificant .20 percent from its previous episode’s 4.7 percent.

In Seoul, however, the K-drama saw a very small increase in viewers earning 5.2 percent of the audience share, which is an increase from Episode 6’s rating of 5.1 percent.

Both ratings meant the SBS drama ended up in 11th place nationwide for the day, and in 8th place in Seoul.

How are international viewers rating My Demon?

Viewers outside South Korea are currently still rating the K-drama with high ratings, with users of the Asian-drama focused website My Drama List currently rating it an 8.7 out of 10, which is a very high rating for that site.

On IMDB, the drama is being rated a solid 8.2 out of 10 and, on Netflix, where the Korean drama is streaming for international audiences, the latest numbers show it at #3 on the platform’s Top 10 Most-Watched Non-English TV Shows chart.

In fact, in the two weeks since it hit the chart, My Demon has already been watched over 28 million hours.

My Demon stars Song Kang and Kim Yoo Jung, and airs every Friday and Saturday night on SBS TV at 22:00 (KST).

Its next episode will air tonight, with Netflix streaming it for its international subscribers around the same time.
