My Lovely Boxer Ep 4 earns LOWEST rating yet as international viewers rate it favorably

The ongoing Korean drama My Lovely Boxer, Episode 4 aired on KBS2 last night to its lowest rating of the series so far.

According to Nielsen Korea (via Daum), My Lovely Boxer, Episode 4 garnered just 1.6 percent of the audience share (which I don’t understand, as the drama is well-written, well-acted and interesting).

That rating is down from its previous episode’s 1.8 percent audience share, with the drama experiencing a gradual decline in ratings since its first episode aired on August 21st.

The rating also placed the drama in 36th place on nationwide TV for the day. No figures have been reported for Seoul audiences as of yet.

International viewers still rating My Lovely Boxer favorably

International viewers of My Lovely Boxer also still seem to be rating the drama favorably, with those users on My Drama List currently watching the series rating the KBS2 drama an 8.02 out of 10.

On Viki, where the drama is streaming for some international viewers, My Lovely Boxer is rated a high 9.1 out of 10.

That is a rating that should be higher if stupid people on the streaming platform were not downrating it due to the drama not being available yet with subtitles in the language they speak.

As it stands at the moment, My Lovely Boxer is available on Viki with subtitles in English, German, French, Finnish, Croatian, Japanese, Serbian, Czech, Polish, Spanish, Hindi, Portuguese, Turkish, Romanian and Italian.

The next episode of My Lovely Boxer will air on Monday, September 4th on KBS2 at 21:45 (KST), with Viki streaming the episode around the same time.

Until then, watch the preview for Episode 5 (in Korean) via KBS below.
