My Perfect Stranger E12 ratings STEADY – excitement rises as drama heads towards finale

The Korean murder mystery drama My Perfect Stranger, Episode 12 aired on KBS2 in South Korea last night and saw its audience ratings holding steady — yet again.

Oddly, unlike many K-dramas that go up and down in the ratings during their run, My Perfect Stranger kicked off on May 1st with a solid rating of 4.5 percent and has continued that solid rating right through its run.

So much so that, according to Nielsen Korea, ratings for last night’s showing of My Perfect Stranger, Episode 12 were about the same as from its first episode at 4.6 percent.

Proving, yet again, the drama’s audience is going nowhere.

Especially as the intrigue and excitement over who is the real murderer keeps ramping up with each new episode.

In Seoul, My Perfect Stranger, Episode 12 performed even better with a 4.9 percent audience share, which is up from its first episode’s 4.2 percent.

Both ratings placed the drama in 7th and 5th places respectively for the day.

With just three more episodes to go before the My Perfect Stranger finale, and the reveal of who is the real murderer continues, ratings are likely to remain solid or increase.

My Perfect Stranger‘s Kim Dong Wook Monday/Tuesday success

KBS2’s My Perfect Stranger stars Kim Dong Wook and Jin Ki Joo, but is not Kim Dong Wook’s only drama airing this season.

Instead, the Korean actor also stars in tvN’s ongoing Delightfully Deceitful, which also airs on Monday and Tuesday evenings just like My Perfect Stranger, but in an earlier time slot.

That drama is also doing very well in South Korea, earning similar ratings to My Perfect Stranger.

Thus making it appear as though Kim Dong Wook is taking over Monday/Tuesday night TV in the East Asian country.

Not that drama fans, or fans of the incredibly talented Korean actor, are likely to be complaining, eh?

Meanwhile, the next episode of My Perfect Stranger will air on KBS2 next Monday June 12th at 21:50 KST.

Fans outside Korea can watch My Perfect Stranger, Episode 12 as, well as the rest of the drama, via streaming services Viki or Kocowa.
