New posters have been released for the upcoming Korean drama Flex X Cop (see full posters below), also called ‘Chaebol X Detective‘ or재벌X형사 in South Korea.
The crime comedy stars Ahn Bo Hyun (Her Private Life and See You in My 19th Life), and Park Ji Hyun (Reborn Rich and Love All Play).
It follows two detectives Jin Yi Soo (Ahn Bo Hyun) and Lee Kang Hyun (Park Ji Hyun) who end up becoming partners.
Even though veteran detective Kang Hyun isn’t too enamored of Yi Soo, a smooth talking but immature chaebol who uses his immense wealth to catch the criminals he despises, as you might expect, things start to change the more they work together.
And yes, the K-drama has a “romance” tag.
The drama is directed by Kim Jae Hong (Revenant and Through the Darkness), and is written by Kim Ba Da (My Name).
The newly released Flex X Cop posters feature Ahn Bo Hyun wearing obviously expensive clothes and looking slightly arrogant while standing against a backdrop of weaponry,.
Meanwhile, Park Ji Hyun is standing against the same backdrop, butlooks more rough and ready and, let’s face it, badass.
Flex X Cop is a Friday-Saturday drama that is due to premiere on January 26th on SBS in South Korea in the 22:00 (KST) time slot, with Disney Plus streaming the drama in some areas.
