Following on from last week’s release of romantic looking character art for Aishia, the upcoming Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles, Season 2 has now released new character art for the adorable Latifa via the anime’s official X account.
Latifa, of course, is Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles 2′s young fox beastkin who was sent to kill protagonist Rio.
She is now completely loyal to Rio after he quickly took her down, removed her slave collar and then treated her with nothing but kindness.
Latifa is also the recently reincarnated young Japanese girl Endo Suzune, who died in the same bus accident as Rio (aka Haruto Amakawa).
In the new Latifa character art, the cute young fox is wearing a lovely off the shoulder blouse, brown bodice, pink skirt and booties — all of which are reminiscent of a traditional Austrian dirndl.
Her bushy tail and perky ears proudly sit up straight as she laughs joyously.
Like the first season of the isekai anime, Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles 2 is based on the light novels by Yuri Kitayama and Riy.
The anime is being directed by Hiroshi Kubo (Spo-chan Taiketsu: Youkai Daikessen), who is directing under chief director and Season 1 director Osamu Yamasaki.
Osamu Yamazaki is also in charge of series composition, while Kyouko Yufu is back designing the characters.
TMS Entertainment (Dr. Stone) is again in charge of anime production.
The first episode of Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles 2 is scheduled to premiere in October, 2024.
Crunchyroll will stream the fantasy isekai anime as part of its Fall, 2024 season.
