It was a huge night on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Tuesday night when Nile Rodgers and Chic sang ‘I’ll Be There’ and their classic track ‘Good Times‘. That’s because the last time Nile Rodgers released a Chic album was 1999 but, on Tuesday night, he and Chic performed a new song from a new EP.
The Ep is called It’s About Time, which couldn’t be a more appropriate title, and it’s available on iTunes.
It’s not just Chic that Nile Rodgers is back recording with either, though. He’s also working on Kylie Minogue’s new album with her.
Looks like 2015 is going to be the year of the Great Nile Rodgers comeback. I couldn’t be happier.
