Ratings drop for Numbers, Episode 2 insignificant so far
The MBC TV revenge drama Numbers, Episode 2 aired in South Korea last night and saw a slight drop in ratings over its first episode.
Then again, it was a Saturday night and dramas do often see a smaller audience on Saturdays – the going out night of the week for many.
The fall in ratings for Numbers, Episode 2, however, were slight and not indicative (yet) of any performance for the rest of the drama’s 12-episode run.
According to Nielsen Korea, Numbers grabbed a 4.0 percent share of the audience nationwide, which is down just .4 percent from its previous episode.
In Seoul, the drama earned the same rating and the same drop.
Both are still solid ratings for the Kim Myung Soo-led drama.
International viewers and Numbers, Episode 2
After Episode 2 of the revenge drama aired last night, international users of My Drama List and Viki are still rating the show with high ratings.
On My Drama List, where users are often stingy with their ratings, Numbers is earning 8.2 out of 10. A good rating for that website.
Comments about the drama after its second episode aired are also overwhelmingly positive so far.
On Viki, Numbers is currently earning a rating of 9.7 out of 10.
Yes, that rating is too high, as are most ratings on Viki (a site that may have a history of manipulating ratings), but it is still indicative of most viewers enjoying the drama so far.
