Oasis Episode 10 viewers increase from previous episode as period drama heads into final stretch

As the South Korean drama Oasis continues to be one of the most popular shows on Korean TV on Monday and Tuesday nights, the percentage of viewers Oasis, Episode 10 was able to grab last night has been revealed by Nielsen Korea.

According to the media audience firm, Oasis, Episode 10 earned 6.8 percent of the audience in its time slot nationwide last night.

The drama also earned a slightly lower 6.6 percent of the audience in Seoul.

Both numbers were higher than the period drama’s previous episode, with the nationwide audience increasing by .6 percent, and the Seoul audience by .4 percent.

They were also higher than the percentage of viewers garnered by the drama’s first episode when it premiered on March 6th.

That means Oasis is gathering more viewers with every episode that airs.

With six more episode of the 16-episode period drama yet to air, it looks likely Oasis will continue to retain its audience through its final stretch.

Oasis stars Jang Dong Yoon, Seol In Ah, and Choo Young Woo.

According to various media, the plot of Oasis goes like this:

Set against the turbulent backdrop of South Korea from the 1980s to the 1990s, the series depicts the story of three young people who fight fiercely to protect their dreams, friendship, and their one and only first love.

The next two episodes of Oasis will air on Monday and Tuesday, April 10th and 11th on KBS2 in South Korea, and on Viki in select regions outside the country.
