Of Monsters and Men’s ‘Alligator’ finally here and it’s high energy and so very cool

Of Monsters and Men’s ‘Alligator‘ is cool, fun and powerful

Finally. A new song from Icelandic indie folk pop band Of Monsters and Men. The first new release from one of Iceland’s most popular exports since their 2015 album release Beneath the Skin.

Called ‘Alligator‘, this one is a slightly new Of Monsters and Men sound — a little more produced, a bit more pop, even more rock, but still as damned cool as ever.

Especially when you play the track on headphones, incredibly loud and dancing. Because the high energy in this gladly received new offering is a great way to start your day.

Of Monsters and Men’s ‘Alligator‘ is the first single from the band’s upcoming as-yet-unnamed third studio album.

Alligator‘ was co-produced by Of Monsters and Men and Rich Costey. The song was written by the band’s lead singer Nanna Bryndis Hilmarsdóttir.

And, if getting new Of Monsters and Men wasn’t enough to get your day off to a fabulous start, the track also comes with a cool lyric video, all dropping, mixing, flowing liquids in all their wild and vibrant colors.

Watch it below. And, of course, keep up to date on all this phenomenal Icelandic band’s goings-on at their website.
