I love Paloma Faith. She’s cool, quirky, slightly weird (in a good way, Paloma), eccentric and doesn’t seem to care what other people think about her at all. My kind of girl, it seems. She also has a gorgeous voice and rocks just about every song she sings – including her latest release, ‘Ready for the Good Life‘, which she sang at Sunday Night at the London Palladium last night.
‘Ready for the Good Life’ is from Paloma’s latest studio album ‘A Perfect Contradiction‘ but the repackaged version of the album – A Perfect Contradiction: Outsiders’ Edition – which will include four new songs. ‘Ready for the Good Life’ is one of them.
The album also includes one of my favorite songs of the year ‘Only Love Can Hurt Like This‘.
As for Paloma’s performance at the London Palladium last night, look at her stage presence. Kick ass, indeed. And what a great song. It made me want to dance.
Well done, Paloma. Loving this.
