There are few singers I follow religiously from the beginnings of their careers, but British singer songwriter Paloma Faith is one of them. I cannot get enough of her. And now she has a new single out, I cannot get enough of that either.
Paloma’s latest single is called ‘Leave While I’m Not Looking‘. It is from her latest studio album, ‘A Perfect Contradiction – Outsiders’ Edition’, and it is more than just a bit haunting. Because it is that raspy voice of hers that breaks your heart when you hear it.
But, if you thought the audio track of the song was bad enough for leaving you feeling shattered, watch Paloma Faith singing ‘Leave While I’m Not Looking‘ live on The Jonathan Ross Show last week.
Part of which she sings while blindfolded. Because Ye Gods, she is heartbreaking.
Which is why ‘Leave While I’m Not Looking‘ is my Repeat Rotation Video today — meaning I have listened to it at least 30 times today already, and I’m still not done.
Listen to Paloma singing it below, and then tell me you can only listen to it once, and that’s not incredible.
